Thats what its like to buy 50 lbs or more of hormone free, grass fed, local beef. The meat is packaged immediately upon slaughter and lasts for 6 months or more in the freezer. This is going to be the best, tenderest, cleanest beef you'll ever taste. You can finally have your steaks rare and your roasts tender.

I've bought beef like this several times now, typically we divide the cow up in quarters. Everyone gets the same cuts, with the exception of a two or three items that are hard to divide. Everyone gets a few choice cuts but at $6.65 a lb plus $1.00 for individual cut cryo-vac packaging, its a great deal all around.

Since cows vary by weight, its hard to peg a specific total cost. Over payments will be refunded, under payments will require a few more dollars at pick up.
